I assess the following types of risk in adult clients:
– risk of repeat sexual offending: e.g., contact, non-contact, internet offending
– risk of repeat sexual offending against a specific child
– risk of sexual offending escalation: e.g., from internet to contact offending
– risk of repeat sexual offending after a significant period of time spent offence-free in the community (e.g., 10, 15, 20 years)
– risk of first-time sexual offending in clients showing concerning behaviours (e.g., problematic interactions with potential victims, expressed sexual fantasies involving harm to others)
