Specific training

I was trained by the Correctional Service of Canada to administer the Static-99R, Stable-2007, and Acute-2007, three measures developed within the Service to assess risk and treatment needs in people who have sexually offended. Supported by ongoing quality research, these measures are used by forensic agencies and practitioners worldwide to inform decision-making around management and intervention of this population.

I was trained by the Correctional Service of Canada and Corrections Victoria to administer their treatment programs for people who have sexually offended: the National Sex Offender Program and the Better Lives Program, respectively.

I was trained by the Institute of Sexology & Sexual Medicine, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin (developers of the Prevention Network Dunkelfeld) to administer Dissexuality Therapy. Dissexuality Therapy seeks to prevent child sexual abuse and the use of child exploitation material, by helping people who are sexually interested in children handle their interests without acting on them.
